Rev. Dr. Aubrey Bruce currently thrives as a renowned sports columnist, with a track record of remarkable success. His journey commenced in 1979 as a freelance writer with the esteemed New Pittsburgh Courier. He has served as a correspondent for the publication, covering the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pirates as well as multiple NFL Super Bowls, NFL Pro Bowls, and MLB All-Star games and playoffs. In 1975, he founded Vision Agency and SeaStorm Sports & Entertainment Group.

Beyond his illustrious writing career, Dr. Bruce has also made an indelible mark as a musician, promoter, and producer. He boasts an impressive roster of collaborations with nationally acclaimed artists, including the likes of Diane Reeves, Roy Ayers, War, Pieces of a Dream, Stanley Clark, and many others. In addition to his artistic pursuits, Dr. Bruce is the Founder and CEO of Urban Pulse Network, and has made significant contributions as a preacher and educator, imparting knowledge of black history across the United States.

Ron Hill is a veteran music industry professional best known for serving as Road Manager for the Sugar Hill Records Revue during the early 1980s. In this role, he coordinated national tours featuring pioneering hip-hop artists, including the Sugarhill Gang, helping introduce rap music to audiences across the United States during the genre's formative years.

Before joining Sugar Hill Records, Hill worked for Pittsburgh concert promoters DiCesare-Engler Productions at the historic Stanley Theater, where he managed security, promotions, and concert operations for major touring artists. His reputation for professionalism led Sylvia Robinson, often called the "Mother of Hip-Hop," to recruit him as Road Manager for the Sugar Hill touring organization.

After leaving the music business, Hill returned to Pittsburgh and built a distinguished public service career with the Allegheny County Jail, rising from Correction Officer to the rank of Major before retiring. He is also the founder of the John Preston "Pete" Hill Foundation, which honors the legacy of Negro Leagues Baseball Hall of Famer Pete Hill and promotes opportunities for youth through sports, education, and community engagement.

Today, Ron Hill is recognized for his contributions to both the early history of hip-hop and his decades of community leadership in Pittsburgh.
